Responsibilities of the course participant

The freedom in online learning requires self-discipline. You will have to manage your own time, and organize the conditions in such a manner that you are able to complete the work. Being an online student is not less demanding than being an on-campus student; - on the contrary, it is probably more demanding and time-consuming. In order to succeed as an online student, you will need to hand in assignments, ask for teaching counselling and take actively part in collaboration and discussions with your fellow students. By doing this, you can contribute to creating a good learning environment both for yourself and your fellow students. In the following chapters you can see what is expected of you in the various stages of an online course.
